I am an enthusiastic, warm and experienced, outstanding primary school teacher and specialist leader for education. I am currently working in a special educational needs school in Newham as a qualified SENCo - advising teachers on outstanding teaching and learning practice. I previously taught in the classroom in an outstanding school in Hackney. I am a very passionate and hard working and diligent teacher. I have a reputation for accelerating children's progress and spreading an enthusiasm for and love of learning.
I have been teaching for 10 years now and tutoring for 7 years. I am a Specialist Leader for Education. I work with children with a huge range of abilities and have worked with them to support and develop their learning, skills and knowledge. So whether you want to:
*Support your child in catching up with their curriculum,
*You want to have a consistent support to keep them on track, or
*You want to push them further and deepen their understanding, I can help.
Most of my work has been passed through word of mouth over the past few years, with many families choosing to work with me for siblings too.
I have worked with most of my students for over 18 months each; demonstrating a successful and ongoing partnership, and my dedication to their learning journey.
I will create lessons which will stimulate my students' interests. I work with many different resources, to accommodate different learning styles. I believe that working with students is a partnership, where we go through the journey of progression together.
I currently only have one more slot for an in-person tutee and two slots for online tutoring.*
**I offer fun and engaging online sessions - this option means greater availability. Students will get as much out of these as they would in person.
Please also see my coaching profile for those who work in education, and might need supportive professional coaching sessions.
