I am a composer/producer living in Birmingham who has just graduated a music composition degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I have received 5+ years of 1-2-1 tuition in composition (harmony, polyphony, conducting, analysis, orchestration, reduction), music production (Logic Pro, Ableton, Sibelius), music for film (Goldsmiths University) and piano by active musicians working in their field, throughout A-level music and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
My work has been played on Radio 3 Late Junction, Flatpack Film Festival, in New York, London, Birmingham. I have worked with Le Page Ensemble, Thallien Ensemble, BCMG, Birmingham School of Acting. Currently, I have been commissioned by the GAP Arts Project to create a sound installation in January.
My work explores a variety of styles including; scores for large and small ensembles (orchestra, string quartet, recorder consort), electronic music (field recordings, synthesizers, samplers), songwriting.
I have currently 10 students that I travel to, ranging from beginner to intermediate. I’ve over 75 hours of teaching experience.
Here are some reviews I have received:
Sairah D (Composition for GCSE Music)
A great 2 hours spent with my son helping him improve his composition. My son learnt alot in the time. We only needed the one session. He thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ollie is extremely polite and reliable. He has a really good connection with my son who has ADHD. He has a relaxed approach to teaching which is exactly what my son needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone with special needs. I am very happy with my son progression in such a short time.

Composing and producing is what I am passionate about and would love to share my enthusiasm with aspiring composers/ songwriters/ performers, allowing them to reach their goals as a musician. All I really hope for from you is a willingness to learn, and we will have a lot of fun! :)
