I trained on the BA (Hons) Acting course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2009. Since then, I have worked extensively within the acting industry. My most recent credits include:
Peterloo (directed by Mike Leigh)
By Jeeves (directed by Alan Ayckbourn)
Miss Nightingale (London Hippodrome, West End)
Astley's Astounding Adventures (New Vic Theatre)
Sleeping Beauty (Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds)
In addition to my acting, I have also spent several years working in both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions Departments at Central. I have an excellent understanding of how the admissions process works, as well as practical experience of the preparation required in order to succeed. My professional experience in Shakespearean productions, musicals and plays makes me an ideal tutor both for those looking to apply to drama schools, and for those who are looking to improve their skills in performing arts.
I have taught at CPA, Shockout Performing Arts and Last Act Theatre School, as well as summer and Saturday courses at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
My teaching approach is personalised to the individual. There is no one catch-all technique to acting, and I aim to give my students the tool-kit they need to deal with any audition, style or challenge. As a teacher, I can help you find the method that works best for you.
In addition, I can offer valuable insight into the auditions process for both drama schools and professional productions and give you the confidence you need to succeed.
