I am a gap year student who will be pursuing psychology next year at university.
I achieved an A* in psychology in my A levels and an A in Spanish. I am very familiar with AQA for both Spanish and psychology as I studied them both for my A levels but am also able to adapt to the needs of the students with any exam board. For psychology the modules I studied were: memory, attachment, forensic psychology, schizophrenia, cognition and development, approaches, research methods, social influence, issues and debates.
I have worked voluntarily in my old primary school and helped students to practice Spanish verbally. I have also supported fellow students in my year with certain psychology modules.
My methods include repetition and active recall which are especially effective with my focus on the specification by using past papers and exam practice ensuring my students are well equipped for the exam. Having dyslexia I have tried multiple methods in studying and am able to approach subjects with creativity and adaptability.
