I am a qualified teacher of modern languages and a linguist. My mother-tongue is Russian and English is my second language. I gained my qualification at a Russian University and its rigorous training has given me a solid foundation for my work.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced tutor of Russian Language and Literature and my work gives me a lot of joy and satisfaction. I also teach English as a foreign language.
Russian Language and Culture are my life-long passions and, I am sure, this helps my pupils in their learning. I also spent a number of years working as an interpreter and translator between London and Moscow.

Tutoring Approach

I offer one-to-one tuition in Russian Language, Literature and also in English as a foreign language. Usually I travel to pupils' homes or places of work in Central and South East London. I believe that a tutor and a pupil are a team and, as a team, we gradually find the best ways to learn together. There is always plenty of room for questions and discussion in our lessons, which creates an atmosphere of flexibility and creativity in the learning process.
