Based on the eastern Edge of Dartmoor, I qualified as a secondary teacher back in 2003. I lived in Spain 2005-2010, and since then have regularly tutored Spanish, and have been teaching Spanish classes to adults since 2016.

Tutoring Experience

I've been teaching is secondary schools since 2002, tutoring since 2011, and teaching adult classes since 2016. I teach a variety of subjects including Spanish and Sciences.

I take a flexible and student-centered approach to tutoring, adapting my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs, strengths, and goals. I focus on building confidence alongside subject knowledge, helping students develop problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the material. My sessions are interactive and engaging, with a mix of explanations, practice questions, and real-world examples to reinforce learning.
