I really enjoy Maths tutoring and find it extremely rewarding.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years and have successfully helped all my students progress, gain confidence and achieve their target grades.
I have taught Maths in several London comprehensive schools. This have given me a unique insight into the needs of a wide spectrum of pupils and abilities. I love teaching Maths and am passionate about my subject. I get great pleasure and satisfaction when my pupils overcome hurdles and achieve their potential.
My first teaching post was at Chestnut Grove School in Balham where I taught Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and AS Level Maths. I worked there for 4 years and then moved to St Marylebone School in Marylebone, where I held the roles of Key Stage 3 Co-ordinator from 2009-2010, KS4 Co-ordinator from 2010/2011 as well as teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 & AS level Maths.
Both these school are Ofsted rated as "Outstanding" schools.
I understand that for many people, Maths can be an uphill struggle. With my experience, welcoming approach and amiable personality, I make Maths fun and enjoyable. There are many misconceptions and difficulties with maths. Tutoring is an extremely valuable tool to combat these problems. It allows me to work one-to-one with my students, and this focused approach enables me to formulate a bespoke teaching strategy for each individual student.
