I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, passionate about helping children overcome obstacles to learning; allowing them to reach their full potential and become enthused life-long learners. I love the arts and try to weave creative opportunities into the learning experience I provide.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience of teaching children of all abilities from YR through to Y8 in 1:1 situations and small groups.

Tutoring Approach

I believe children learn best when they feel happy, relaxed and confident to have-a-go. These principles underpin the learning opportunities I provide for students. I aim to tailor my teaching to each individual pupil based on my knowledge of their likes, dislikes and interests. The activities I provide are interactive, creative and fun. I work hard to build a nurturing working relationship with my students, where we learn from our mistakes and celebrate success!
