I am an experienced biology and science teacher and tutor. I offer tutoring for OCR and AQA Biology A level. Sorry but I do not tutor Edexcel A or B. I also tutor AQA biology, Chemistry and Double Science for GCSE. Sorry but I only offer AQA syllabus content for GCSE.

Tutoring Experience

I worked as a Science teacher for 40 years. I have tutored for many years and since retiring from teaching in schools, I have focussed fully on home tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I have an approachable, patient and friendly attitude and believe students should feel comfortable asking as many questions as they feel necessary until they fully understand a concept. Individual tuition improves a student's confidence in the subject and this not only helps their performance in exams but enables them to get the best out of their studies at school.

My style is to work with you on areas you have identified as weak. We will then work to ensure you have a thorough understanding of all areas of your syllabus content. I will provide resources for you to improve your confidence with the subject material.

I will also prepare you specifically for your exam using past papers from your exam board. I can help you with exam technique giving you both the knowledge and exam confidence to achieve the top of your potential.
