I have a passion for maths and science and enjoy tutoring, deriving value from the tangible difference I can make to students and the larger impact this has on society.

I enjoy working one to one with students, personalising teaching plans to suit their learning style. I strongly believe in the importance of helping students conceptually understand the material, as this provides a foundation for them to excel in further education.

Tutoring Experience

I have a unique background, having tutored Maths since 2010. I have also worked in a number of secondary schools around Greater Manchester, delivering KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons. I have additionally used my maths and science skills to work in private industry and researching healthcare in the NHS.

Tutoring Approach

I have consistently helped the vast majority of students meet their target grades through incorporating strategies to optimise study habits and minimise stress into lesson plans when tutoring, teaching students how to use their study time efficiently and methods to improve their ability to recall how to solve problems. These learning strategies can be utilised for all subjects, ensuring sustainable success by setting students up with ability to learn efficiently, crucial for the dynamic job market they will enter in the future.

My experience has provided me the skills to tailor session to the individuals personality and learning style. I have experience teaching many students with special education needs such as dyslexia and autism and believe strongly in helping neurodivergent students to recognise and utilise their associated strengths.
