I am a an undergraduate History student studying at the University of Edinburgh. I am based in Chislehurst but can travel to surrounding areas. I’m looking forward to working with students who need a push for their humanities grades, or to polish off top end grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have direct experience in mentoring year 8-11 students in engineering competitions.
Acted as a class leader for a year 7 class, ensuring good study skills.
I have also taught and helped year 1 students through early reading and writing.

Tutoring Approach

My main approach is ensuring that students fully understand how they are being marked, especially useful for GCSE and A Level students looking to maximise marks.
In terms of teaching I place importance on answering practice questions so that students can build strong confidence which is critical for exams.
All this whilst ensuring students are enjoying the subject and encouraging their curiosity which can be the decisive edge in humanities exams.
