My name is Conor, I am a local of Liverpool and lived here until I was twenty. I am an experienced teacher in English, History, and Philosophy. I finished my PhD in 2024 focusing on the work of the German Philosopher Martin Heidegger.
I have taught in the University of Sussex in modules such as "Reason & Argument", "Truth and Morality", "Philosophy, Politics, and Islam", and "Society, State, and Humanity". I have also worked for The Royal Institute of Philosophy, teaching in multiple schools across the country, developing my own modules for students of all ages. I also work for the Brilliant club, bringing my research to young students.
My approach to teaching is a mix of strong knowledge of primary sources while an in depth study of the intellectual impulses behind such thinking.
