Hello! I am a second year history student at Leeds and passionate about helping others. I took Geography, Music and History at A Level and have skills in essay writing and exam preparation.

Tutoring Experience

Aside from experiencing GCSE and A level exams myself, I have tutored children before. Mainly for 11+ prep so I am used to working with children of all ages. I was also a history 'big sister' in secondary school so am experienced in preparing younger students for history exams.

Tutoring Approach

I follow a student-led teaching approach. The first session would be to target areas they find particularly difficult and from there I will plan out an appropriate teaching plan that works up towards whichever exam or end goal they are aiming for. Each session begins with a recap of what was covered in the week before and ends with a quiz on what was covered that week. I like to do it in sessions of a minimum 1 hour in order to cover sufficient information; for younger students (Primary age) shorter session can be done.
