Hello! I am a current medical student at the University of Southampton and a Medical Sciences graduate (with first-class honours). Having performed in the top 2 percent of all UCAT examinees, I have a strong understanding of what is needed to perform well in medical entrance exams. I am also available for medicine entry consultations and advice, such as personal statement reviewing and interview preparation.
My understanding of the core principles of Biology lend themselves to teaching students in a way that complements their learning style. I believe that understanding the science behind the course content is the best way for students to internalise their learning for long-term development and success.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience with one-to-one tutoring at both GCSE and A-level. I am also able to aim my sessions at different levels of complexity and understanding, and so am suitable for both teaching and revision sessions.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is focused on the understanding of the core concepts of the subjects, and how my students can link them to their course material. Starting from this, rather than memorising definitions and exam techniques, will set them up for long-term understanding as well as better exam performance.
