I am currently employed as a Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist within the NHS working with individuals displaying common mental health difficulties and applying different Psychological interventions to support these individuals. I have completed my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and my Undergraduate in Criminological Psychology. I know the challenges many students face in understanding a topic or subject area and want to help you to achieve your full potential in a subject area I am highly passionate about! I am a friendly and approachable individual who can adapt to your learning style in order to help you achieve your potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have had experience of helping University students to develop a better understanding of the world of Psychology and the potential career paths they can take by regularly attending guest lectures as an alumni at my old University to share my work experience and knowledge. I have worked extensively in a forensic setting for the past 7 years delivering interventions to individuals in a fun and innovative way to aid learning and understanding. I have experience of working closely with a range of professionals from a Clinical, Forensic and Psychiatry background as well as working with different Psychological models and applying them to my practice. I have experience of working with individuals who have learning disabilities or difficulties. I possess skills to aid me in meticulously planning and preparing for sessions/ lessons to ensure I help my students in the best way possible.

I am passionate about Psychology and believe engaging in discussions is the best way possible to learn and understand an area you may need additional support with. My approach may not be the norm but it will definitely help you to help yourself in the long run!
