Tutoring Experience

I have six years of experience teaching Physics and Mathematics, both in the classroom and through one-on-one tutoring. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying educational needs. Over time, I have surveyed 200 students to identify the most effective methods of passing exams. This has sharpened my ability to distinguish between preparing students for exams and enhancing their overall understanding of the subject matter.

Throughout my career, I have observed that many students fail exams they were expected to pass, often because they are unaware of what they are truly preparing for. My years of experience have allowed me to uncover these common pitfalls and develop strategies to address them effectively.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is based on insights from my survey on effective learning methods. I have found that understanding exams and their marking schemes significantly boots students' confidence and performance.
Additionally, repeated practice is the most effective way to master concepts.

For each topic, I have prepared a series of questions from past GCSE, Functional skills, and A-level exams. My first task is always to assess your educational needs and goals through direct questions and short assessment tests, typically conducted in the first lesson.

Patience and clear, simple explanations are key skills I possess to helping students understand the subject matter thoroughly.
