I am a fully qualified teacher of English, Maths and Russian. I also specialise in the subjects of Pedagogical, Methodological and Psychological studies of children's development. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years.

I strongly believe that good and systematic education is a wonderful benefit to any child, promotes high achievement at school, and gives a child confidence, joy, and curiosity in studying subjects.

I grew up and was educated abroad before moving to the UK where I have lived for the past 24 years.

I am currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology, which further enhances my understanding of individual learning abilities. This allows me to tailor my teaching to ensure that each student stays motivated, engaged, and able to reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive practical experience teaching in schools, covering both primary and secondary subjects. I have successfully prepared students for 11+, 12+ entrance exams, as well as GCSE Maths and English, with some of my students gaining admission to the most prestigious schools in the country.

In addition to individual and group lessons for adults in English language instruction, I have also provided Russian language tuition to both children and adults. I have prepared students for Russian GCSE and A-level exams, and I have conducted the speaking component (Unit 2) of the Russian GCSE exam in several schools across Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

I am proud to say that 95% of the students I have tutored for more than six months have passed their exams with top marks. Many of them were accepted into their preferred Grammar or Private schools. Furthermore, I have personally tutored my two sons, who successfully passed the 11+ and 12+ entrance exams.

I am also experienced in tutoring children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Every lesson is carefully planned to meet the specific needs of the student, creating a calm yet stimulating atmosphere that fosters learning.

It is incredibly rewarding to witness students' gradual progress and achievements. My professional expertise and extensive experience enable me to tailor lessons to each student’s unique pace and learning style, ensuring that every student receives the personalized support they need to succeed.
