I am a astrophysics graduate from the University of York, currently working in the world of IT Risk management within an insurance company. I have a strong passion for the development of learning and understanding, specifically in STEM subjects at key stages of children's education.

Tutoring Experience

During my university degree I worked as a maths and physics tutor for students of differing ages, focusing on strengthening fundamental understanding of mathematical concepts to pass entry exams for secondary school, through to aiding in revision for maths, physics & chemistry GCSE exams.

Tutoring Approach

I work with each student on a 1-2-1 basis, using the first few sessions to understand key areas to focus on to strengthen fundamentals of the subject. Also, I tailor the sessions to fit the students learning style in a way that traditional school often misses.
Support can also be given to complete homework from school at the beginning of sessions if required.
