I am a qualified and experienced teacher, now tutoring full-time.
I teach all 3 sciences from KS3 to GCSE and Chemistry at A level.
I am mainly online, but some student come to my home for face-to-face lessons.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 22 years’ school teaching experience with pupils aged 11-18 years. I am also a GCSE Chemistry examiner with 2 exam boards, with insight into strategies for answering GCSE exam questions.
I tutor KS3 to KS5 students, of all abilities; maximising every individual potential.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor the lessons according to specific student needs. I am flexible and I come to every lesson fully prepared, with a range of resources. As required, I can teach or recap theory as needed, and consolidate with exam questions, giving students experience of interpreting these, as well as checking progress and understanding. I like to encourage students to make links across the sciences, as well as using examples from the world around us, where possible.
