I am a physicist, passionate about maths and science. I studied physics at Imperial College and I have a PhD in Astrophysics from Oxford. I have worked as a researcher in astrophysics for more than 15 years, a job which has been extremely interesting and rewarding.
I LOVE maths and physics!! And I always try to pass on my enthousiasm to my students!!
I have many years experience in teaching. In the period between 2003-2007, I had about 30 tutees in Physics and Maths (GCSE, A-level and IB). Subsequently, as a University Researcher, I was involved in the supervision of Masters/PhD students, and also lectured an astrophysics course on several occasions. Last year, I re-started Maths and Physics private tuitions.
The best way to learn and remember scientific and mathematical facts, is to understand the concepts first and then do lots of practice questions to solidify your understanding. However, I can tailor my teaching method to suit you - for example I can structure a course for you and teach you the subject from beginning to end, or simply rely on you to pick various topics/exercises that you need help with. Either way I will also be able to answer questions and provide help outside the lessons using an app called Padlet.
If you would like to do more than one lesson per week, there will be a 10% discount in the price of the second (and third, if applicable) lesson.
