• Taught each Maths/Further Maths module multiple times both privately and within sixth forms.
• Wrote model solutions to over 100 A-Level exam papers and created many of the cheat sheets which are found on physicsandmathstutor(dot)com
I can teach STEP, MAT, TMUA, etc. Any of the Mathematics entry exams.
2000+ hours of experience; I've taught privately and in sixth forms. My services are highly sought after and I tend to reach full capacity very early on in the year.
In the first lesson, I typically get to know the tutee. We will discuss their academic record, aspirations for the current academic year and make a list of topics they don't feel comfortable with. Using this information we will put together a plan for the academic year that will enable them to achieve the grades they desire.
In the following sessions, we will tackle each of the topics that the student doesn't feel they have a good grasp on. My online lessons are run very smoothly and I make an effort for them to be as interactive as possible. Homework is regularly set at the end of each lesson, and we go through any problems at the beginning of the next lesson.
Closer to exam period, the focus shifts to exam practice. The plan for the remainder of the year is dependent on the student and their current position, but there is an emphasis on exam practice. I make use of my own catalogue of exam materials to aide this.
In addition, I provide university application help (including the personal statement) for Year 13 students as part of my services. Keep in mind that you are not only paying for a very specialised Maths tutor;; my students also benefit from being able to reach me any time of the week for help outside of lessons.
