Hello!
I am studying Economics (BSc) at the University of Bristol.
I've just began tutoring recently, generally in Maths and Economics. Despite this, my tutoring experience is vast due to being a mentor in my sixth form for an economics student in the year below to me.
Furthermore, I've obtained high grades academically, particularly in A-level Economics with a high A*, A-level Mathematics with an A, and GCSE Mathematics with a 9.
I understand that there are many different types of learning that are suited for different individuals. I accommodate for this through our lessons, by trying numerous ways of teaching, such as auditory, visual, interpersonal, and many more. From this, I can see what the student engages with best, and go further from there.
Initially, I create a hard-working and supportive environment, kept professional but enjoyable and fun, with key focus on interactional work.
I don't want the student to think of learning as a tickbox criteria, where they can only be right or wrong, I want them to build a greater understanding of the topics and how they got to that answer, and build a passion towards these subjects.
This is my style of teaching but I am happy to listen to feedback and criticisms to keep developing my style. I wish to provide the highest level of teaching and am happy to adapt if necessary.
