I am a graduate at King's College London with BSc in Mathematics. As a former student who was academically raised in the education system in London, I understand that Maths can be considered a huge obstacle for many talented students so I am very passionate about clearing the misconception surrounding Maths by providing excellent service for students whether it be in Key Stage 2, GCSE or A Level.
Having been the only student in my year group to achieve an A* in Maths at both GCSE and A Level, the only student in my year to do Further Maths (both AS and A2 in one academic year) as well as being the first student in the 2014/2015 year to apply for university, I understand the tremendous amount of burden that is put on the students. I also understand the amount of effort required to overcome that with great success, so with my experience as a tutee who once needed help and support and as a tutor who provided support for over four years, I hope to bring out the best of the students by teaching at a suitable pace and providing ample guidance that will enable the students to not only achieve great results but to maximise their potential academically in the long run.
I have over four years of experience, which includes teaching in two different tuition centres both in which I was able to help all GCSE and A Level students A Level students achieve grades A* - B and an average of Level 4/5 for all Key Stage Two students.
I believe in tutoring with a calm, patient and, most importantly, logical approach. I stress the value of understanding the concept behind the problem before tackling it as opposed to just doing simple computations to find the solution.
