Teaching is my passion, and I endeavour to always do my best for my students. The overall objective is to assist pupils in understanding and realising their maximum potential.
In addition to my extensive experience, I have a solid academic background. I hold a BSc in Biomedical Science as well as an MSc in Cancer Research. My educational background has equipped me with advanced Science knowledge that will be of great use in this role.
I have five years of classroom experience teaching Science (biology, chemistry, and physics) to students in years 7-11, as well as two years of classroom experience teaching Alevel biology. In addition, I have eight years of experience tutoring students from primary to A level.
I take a variety of approaches to help my students understand scientific concepts. One of them is that I use real-life scenarios to help students connect, analyse, and solve problems.
I encourage independence by assigning students independent tasks that mostly consist of hands-on activities that increase confidence and understanding.
In addition, I create and use differentiated resources to ensure that all students have access to learning while reaching their full potential.
