I am a Math, Physics and Economics A-level student which predicted grades of A*A*A. I am a student with experience with academics but also how they are applied outside a classroom. I have won many places on competitive programmes such as doing research at The European synchrotron radiation facility (France) Renewable energy efficiency research at the University of Lancaster, a residential at one of the world's best universities for Math and Sciences (Imperial College London), a residential at the University of Exeter. I have also worked at British Petroleum as a part of my internship to build skills that are not taught in classrooms.
I have taught GCSE Math and A-Level Economics to students who lacked confidence in their ability to solve problems. One of the students is predicted A*A*A in their upcoming A-level exams which has led them to gain an offer from Durham University.
I teach problem solving and critical thinking. I believe that teaching a student to be proactive with their learning is important. I also incorporate several opportunities that students could take part in such as work experience, internships and fellowships with companies and universities which helps them immerse themselves in education and their future career prospects.
