I am writing this on GCSE Results Day as we celebrate our daughter passing both English GCSEs following tutoring from Michelle.
It was a late call to ask Michelle to help as it was only 6 months or so before GCSEs.
Sophie is dyslexic (late diagnosis) and at Christmas she lacked confidence and was predicted to struggle in a number of GCSEs including English Language & Literature.
Michelle worked fantastically with Sophie and today she celebrated passing both GCSEs - and as importantly we now see a young lady with more and more self confidence and added resilience.
She was disappointed to miss out on a Grade 6 in Eng Lit by 1 mark but we have applied for a re-mark to hopefully get this.
I would not hesitate to recommend Michelle to anyone who wants to help their child improve their grades.
She not only tutors professionally and gives lots of practical help & tips, but she does it in a fun & engaging way.
I'd like to say Michelle helped Sophie learn to love English - but that might be going a bit far !!

I 100% recommend Michelle, she is an absolutely amazing tutor. I needed help for my son who has dyslexia, who was really struggling with his English and scoring level 2's. Michelle has really brought out his confidence, and helped him understand what he has to do in each question. She easily adapted her teaching style to suit him, to meet his needs. He passed his mock GCSE's and he is currently in the middle of his real GCSE's, awaiting his success! Thank you so much xx

Michelle is an amazing and an exceptionally talented tutor. She is passionate about her teaching which shines through when she is working with my two children in preparation for their GCSE English Language and English Literature. She is very knowledgable in the subjects she teaches and with the different specifications for English Language and literature as both of my children are taking English Language with two different exam boards. She is always going over and above what’s expected of her and is very resourceful. I would highly recommend Michelle.

Michelle has been fantastic, and has really given our son confidence. In his November, English language mock exam he received a grade 4. He started tutoring sessions with Michelle in January, and in his February mock had achieved a grade 8. As an examiner, Michelle understands the techniques required to achieve the higher grades in English, and this has been evident in our son's improvement.

I would first of all like to thank Michelle for the support and guidance she gave my daughter in the four months of tutoring. Michelle was very professional from the start . My daughter was a year 11 student and was really struggling with her GCSE work and had fallen significantly behind . Michelle really encouraged my daughter and worked in building not only her skills in English but her overall confidence. This resulted in an overall marked improvement in all subjects as her confidence and ability grew . Due to the pandemic the lessons were cut short but I have absolutely no doubt Michelle's skill with my daughter ensured she passed all her GCSEs this year . Michelle communicated with school and made sure everything was tailored exactly to my daughters needs . Highly recommended tutor , great experience and a lovely manner. Thank you again

Michelle came to help my daughter prepare for English GCSE , my daughter got on well with Michelle and found her very helpful in preparing for her GCSE. Due to coronavirus my daughter's GCSE were cancelled so we only had Michelle for a few lessons but I am sure her tutoring would have benefitted my daughter if she had go on to sit her exams.

My daughter has passed her eng lang and lit with flying colours despite having missed 18 months of school due to ill health. This is thanks to Michelle's incredible support, encouragement and resourcefulness. Can't recommend highly enough.
