Hi! I'm Michelle a computing and maths teacher. I would describe myself as a fun but hard working person that knows what she wants and works hard to get it. I believe that things are possible if you put in the effort to make them possible.
As well as enjoying teaching, all things computing and technology related. I enjoy sports and keeping fit. I am a keen football and tennis fan, both watching and participating.
I spend my free time socialising with family and friends and enjoying the things in life I have worked hard for.
I have been a qualified secondary teacher for 20 years, 10 of which a principal teacher. I have presented pupils at all levels of SQA exams.
As well as being a classroom teacher I offer revision workshops during Easter school holidays for National , higher and advanced higher pupils.
My exam results are excellent (no pupil under my guidance has failed). There are many pupils that recommend me as a fun, friendly and hard working tutor.
I think tutoring is providing young people with help in a way that's not possible in a classroom, breaking topics down and putting a real-life spin on them to help you understand and remember.
I am clear and concise in my explanations and provide all the resources that you need to improve your grades.
My tutoring style involves you writing, saying and doing tasks to further your knowledge and understanding. As well as my time with you I provide continual support via email, so my help is never far away.
