I am an innovative, enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience.
I am a trained Educator with more than ten years of experience planning and implementing at various instructional levels. I currently work as a Science Lead at my school where I teach GCSE separate and combined sciences in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics as well as A-level Biology.
I empower my students to have a voice in a student-centered environment and this gives them the belief that they are equal partners in the learning process. As a science teacher, I encourage students to ask questions and give their experience on the materials we are covering. This is important since students already have pre-existing ideas about scientific concepts. Through scientific inquiry, I help them to transition from simply memorising concepts to thinking critically about ideas and connecting them to their everyday life experiences.
