Private Maths and Physics Tutor in Sheffield

I am here to offer support in Math's and Chemistry-(KS3, GCSE, A level).
I was born in 1995 and during my childhood I went to Silverdale in Sheffield where I spent seven years completing my GCSE's and A levels in Math's Chemistry and Physics. Throughout my school life I have experienced many social and academic challenges, all in which I now take on board when helping young people succeed.
After I left school I became an engineer at a printing company. I also began helping young people with extra curricular activities within my area.

Tutoring Experience

I have been doing this for over 8 years now, and have helped countless individuals from a wide range of different backgrounds and abilities. I will often use my own personal experiences in school to help them succeed, as well as give them advice on what career possibilities they have beyond that.
I first got involved in teaching in 2016 where I was asked by a friend to help with school revision classes at several community centres around Sheffield. I then decided to carry on this work into a private tuition role.

Tutoring Approach

I'm naturally a patient person who is importantly a good listener. When I teach I not only evaluate the student's progress and give feedback, but I also constantly evaluate my own performance, and if I ever felt the student was finding it hard to understand a certain topic or concept, I will not rest until I find them an easier learning strategy that suits their style.
I will often refer to past papers, but also like to mix it up with variety of tasks.
However, I am always conscious about tedium, but at the same time I do not want the student to lose any of the details. I want them to appreciate the art of learning, and perhaps be inspired. Whoever it is I am teaching I will ensure they are prepared for many different scenario's they could face in an exam.
Overall, I'm highly committed, and will give the individual my full support as they approach their upcoming exams.
