Michael is a truly excellent tutor. He really helped my son who is doing the IB. He is clear, organised and expert. Communication was also excellent and prompt. My son very much appreciated the lessons and certainly has performed better as a result of Michael's support. I would strongly recommend Michael.

Michael gave my son high quality Further Maths lessons. My son really enjoyed the lessons and he really benefited from them. He is now in university, studying the course he wanted. Thank you for your time and effort Michael.

My daughter has been tutored by Michael for a few weeks. Even within such a short space of time, there has already been noticeable progress in her math skills. Michael’s lessons are very well structured and tailored to suit her school's curriculum and her math level. As a result, she has become more confident at herself and her learning abilities. She enjoys spending time exploring various math concepts with Michael. As a parent, I am also very happy with Michael’s high quality lessons.

Michael taught my son many aspects of the A level syllabus and ended up playing a major role in his 2021 assessment as an external candidate. Michael is a consummate professional and was enormously helpful every step of the way. My son's maths skills and exam techniques improved in leaps and bounds and we expect good results.

Michael has provided my son with excellent tailored lessons in A level Maths. My son has managed to secure a predicated grade A. My son really enjoyed the maths lessons and the detailed explanations for the topics he struggled with. Michael is very knowledgeable in his subject and we are grateful for all his support.

Excellent Maths A-Level tutoring for our son who was finding the subject quite difficult. He gained confidence in the subject and achieved the grade he needed thanks to Michael's experienced tuition and friendly support.

Our son James has had his first session with Michael to help him prepare for his upcoming AS Maths exam. Michael's explanations are very clear and our son is very pleased how he can now understand areas of the curriculum he was having problems with and this is giving James far more confidence.

Update 6 November 2015:

Following the few support lessons our son James had with Michael just before his AS Maths exam (above) James achieved a high Grade B (summer 2014).

As we were very pleased with the help that Michael gave James then, that we decided to ask Michael for his support earlier in the academic A2 year - once a week through to the A2 exam this summer. James achieved a very safe A Grade and is now reading Physics at the University of Southampton where a good capability in Maths is essential.

We have no hesitation in recommending Michael as an extremely good and patient tutor who undoubtedly cleared up some problems James was having on the A2 Maths course. This without doubt ensured James' excellent result.

We couldn't have found a better tutor for our son who was floundering in his IGCSE maths. We chose Michael because of his professionalism and pleasant manner and of course from the many excellent reviews. Our son needed 'one to one' tutoring with a calm and patient approach as our son didn't believe he could ever get above that 'C' grade. With a regular weekly slot our son achieved a 'B' in his 'mock' exam and has just been awarded a high 'A' at IGCSE ! "I couldn't have achieved this without Michael", he said. Highly recommend Michael but would advise to plan ahead and book as soon as possible as he's extremely popular.

My son has found Michael's one to one tuition extremely helpful in preparing for his maths A level exams. Tailor-made sessions are addressing Tom's weaknesses and boosting his confidence in this challenging subject. Tom says that Michael puts him at ease, is easy to talk to and very patient. Our son lacked confidence in his maths ablility, this was reflected in poor test results, and with maths igcse on the horizon we asked Michael if he could help. He was honest, welcoming, explained everything clearly, concisely and most importantly patiently, he set homework after each session to ensure our son had learnt and understood what was put before him. Although our sons time with Michael was limited, his help was invaluable and proves a little bit of one to one goes a long way. Our son went on to achieve the grade required!

Michael has been tutoring my son Toby in preparation for his A level maths. Whilst I don't profess to understand what is being taught, my son has given Michael nothing but glowing reports. He says that Michael has definitely helped in preparing him and understanding various topics that make up the A level maths syllabus. Michael has always been very flexible and accommodative in my dealings with him. A big thumbs up from us, and well worth every penny.
