My name is Jojo and I came from Shanghai, China. I graduated from top 3 universities ( Fudan University) in China majoring in Chinese linguistics. I have been working as deputy editor-in-chief for a Chinese newspaper for over 4 years in London before and then became a freelance interpreter and translator since 2015. I have lived in the UK for over 12 years and I am a mum to 2 lovely kids. I love to share Chinese culture, and I am good at cooking delicious authentic Chinese cuisine.
I have been teaching for over 6 years. I have taught both grown-ups and kids, one-to-one and in a group.
My approach is teaching through interesting activities and real-life conversation. I will also use materials from the Chinese variety show, and popular drama to teach daily Mandarin. I am a very kind, patient teacher and will tailor the teaching material and method to each student.
