I am a female adult education teacher who loves teaching and really enjoys seeing students progress, gain confidence and independence by improving their language and literacy skills.
I have been teaching for over 29 years, full-time for the past 18 years and prior to that part-time as a private tutor for approximately 11 years.
I can offer lessons in your home, my home of online on Zoom.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked with various colleges and adult education departments over the years both as a sessional tutor and a permanent member of staff. I have also taught privately since 1994. During this time I have taught students from all over the world and at all levels, from complete beginners to Level 2 which is at the lower end of GCSE's, as well as functional skills and business English, including experience of teaching classes and individuals in the workplace.
For 17 years I was an examiner for Cambridge ESOL skills for life and Upper Main Suite exams.
