My name is Mediha, and I am excited to offer my tutoring services to children and adults. With a BA Honours Degree in English Language and Spanish, along with a PGCE from the University of Manchester, I am a fully qualified teacher with over 10 years of private tutoring experience.

With 10 years of experience in one-on-one and group tutoring, I have a proven track record of helping students excel in their coursework and exams. My background includes working with students of all ages, from children to adults, and tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs. I am known for being reliable, approachable, and supportive, creating an environment where students feel comfortable and confident. Additionally, I have specialized experience in preparing students for 11+ exams and providing comprehensive support across a range of levels from Key Stage 1 to A-level.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is both effective and engaging, ensuring that students reach their full potential. I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student’s unique needs, fostering a genuine interest in learning. I use interactive activities, educational games, digital resources, and multimedia tools to make learning engaging. For students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I provide differentiated strategies and specialized resources for personalized support. During sessions, I review materials like PowerPoint presentations and past papers, assign and mark homework, and offer extra support via email. I also track progress with mini-tests and quizzes and use high-quality educational tools to make learning enjoyable and effective.
