I am a qualified (QTS) Mathematics & Physics teacher, having trained at a leading independent school. I am a BSc (Hons) Physics graduate from Bristol University, with 10 years private tutoring experience at GCSE and A Level.
It has been so rewarding to see my tutoring service grow in both breadth of subjects and number of students (~60 to date).
I have taken on students across the world e.g Moscow and Singapore.
I was a postgraduate at Cambridge University (Jesus College.), am about to begin a part-time PhD in optical physics
I am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS).
I offer a discount for block booking of 5 sessions.
Please note that as we approach exam's, my availability quickly diminishes.
In addition to the academic content of sessions I persist in nurturing deep inquisitiveness. This makes the difference between just being an excellent student, and an excellent scientist/mathematician.
Qualified (QTS) teacher of physics and mathematics, of nearly 3 years standing. Experience of classroom teaching in both secondary & Sixth Form.
I am a registered private tutor with a London tutoring agency.
Experienced with the UCAS admissions process, especially Cambridge admission (I can even recommend particular colleges).
Owing to my commitments I am only offering my slick online service for the foreseeable future. This continues to be the most popular with virtually all of my students - please don't see it as inferior to in-person!
During each tutorial I screen share my tablet with stylus using a Teams call to as we take notes/sketch graphs etc.
My approach to tutoring has always been 'fundamentals first'. In maths and science this is the secret to long term success.
The first tutorial is always free; this is important for me to decide whether I can help you going forward.
