I am a 40 something with a broad outlook on life. I am married with a daughter, and I have had many interesting experiences including travelling widely in Europe and living in Japan for two years. I tend to see the bizarre side of some things I come across. I tend not to take myself too seriously.

Tutoring Experience

I have had a wide range of experience. I have taught in a public school, a comprehensive and a grammar school. I have taught English in Japan. And I have taught small groups and individuals as a tutor. I have learnt from all these different teaching contexts.

Tutoring Approach

I am really passionate about English. I am determined to help the children I teach to improve. I have helped many children get into the secondary school of their choice. I make learning fun, relevant and meaningful and stress how concepts learnt now can enhance their confidence in all aspects of English.
