Hi, I am a retired maths teacher living in the Brixham area. My educational is Engineering (Bsc from Manchester University) and GTP in Mathematics through Exeter University. I have now retired from full time teaching and focus entirely on private tuition.
Tutoring Experience
I have taught mathematics in secondary schools since 2005 and privately since 2007. I now focus entirely on private tuition.
Tutoring Approach
My students enjoy my informal style of teaching and really get a big boost in confidence from their lessons with me, particularly if they are preparing for examinations. Examination technique and practice is a key area of focus.
The feedback I get from my students (and their parents) is that they enjoy and look forward to their maths lessons and gain confidence in the subject.
My students either come to my house in Brixham or I teach them online or both.
