Hello!
I’m a secondary school teacher with over 5 years experience. I’m also a history GCSE examiner which gives my students an advantage as I know what the exam boards are looking for. I have a passion for teaching and learning which I hope to pass onto my students.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in schools and at sixth form level for over 5 years. During this time I have tutored small intervention groups within schools to help improve GCSE grades. This was always alongside my normal teaching role where I taught students aged 11-18.

My specialism is in History but I have taught Religious Studies and Geography to GCSE level with great success. During my experience I have written, assessed and provided feedback on countless papers and essays. With this experience I can offer assistance to those who are struggling with formulating their ideas or structuring them properly.

Tutoring Approach

As a teacher I have worked with students or all abilities. This means I can adapt my teaching style to help the needs of my individual students.

My approach when tutoring is to first find out what the individual requirements of student are, and then tailor my tutoring plan to that. Using my experience in teaching and as an examiner we can create a practical tutoring plan together. We can then work together to achieve your goals.
