I am a semi-retired Primary Deputy Head with over 30 years experience as SENCO and Pastoral leader. English is my passion and I have been Literacy coordinator in four off the schools I have taught in. I want to give all of the support I can to Primary aged children. I am patient, understanding and might just burst into song!!!

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for 30 years and have been a Primary Deputy Head. I have been SENCO for many years so understand the need for a varied approach to tutoring. I have marked English SATs externally for 23 years too,so have a wealth of experience with SATs preparation as well as entrance exams and all aspects of primary curriculum.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is one of hopefully utilising fun but a fair approach. Each individual pupil is assessed and work planned according to their requirements. The progress is fed back to both child and parent at the end of Each session. Homework will be set if required.
