Marilu is an excellent tutor, you can tell straight away she has a lot of experience teaching the Italian language. She will correct mistakes and find the right exercises to help grasp a concept (and remember it) but at the same time keeping it fun and light-hearted so it it isn’t ever daunting. I would recommend Marilu to anyone wanting to learn Italian.

Ive booked 10 lessons with Marilu and have found it enjoyable but tough at the same time. Im planning to do 12 to 18 months with her as she has helped me so much in the first month alone. Ive had face to face and online sessions both are very comfortable. If you want to learn proper Italian then look no further. Andiamo

Marilu' has been a great help for my daughter in preparation for her Italian GCSE exam. Marilu' has focused on the areas my daughter needed more support on and gave her the confidence to sit her exams and perform at the best of her ability. I would definitely recommend.

Maria is a fantastic teacher and she has really helped me develop my Italian. She always shares useful resources and materials that have enormously helped me develop my fluency and understanding of the language. She also picks up on areas where I might need to improve to make those the areas of focus for a lesson and gives me advice on how to prepare for the following session. She doesn't make me feel bad when I make mistakes, she encourages me to speak up when I don't fully understand something, and the learning environment is always warm, friendly, and supportive. I would definitely recommend Maria to anybody who wants to learn or develop their Italian skills, I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!

I have had two lessons so far and I am very happy. Marilu is so thorough and totally includes you on all aspects of the language. She explains everything in detail and makes you feel confident to speak and ask questions I highly recommend her.

Marilú is a wonderful tutor. I have previously learned some Italian in online group courses, but I am learning everything so much more quickly with Marilú than I did in those! The lessons are fun and interactive, and I'm gaining much more confidence with my speaking and listening skills in only three lessons. She provides all notes to me after the lesson, so I don't have to focus on writing everything down during the session. She is always friendly and approachable, and deals with the constant bombardments of questions that I throw at her extremely patiently! Grazie mille :)

Maria has provided me with all the support I need for my upcoming exams. She is flexible and her method of teaching works very well for me. Also, she encourages me to include more idioms and such in my work to push myself. Very, very happy with her as my tutor!

Excellent first lesson with Maria yesterday. Maria is a fantastic teacher and structured things really well allowing me to speak, make mistakes but then spend time giving me great feedback on how to improve.

Maria has been a helpful and supportive tutor. My Italian is improving quickly with her. She is very thorough with things like grammar and my confidence has grown.

I've had my first few lessons with Marilu and plan to continue with these for the foreseeable future. Marilu quickly assessed my current level of the Italian language and provides interactive lessons to help with my development. I really enjoy the structure of the online lessons where Marilu uses visuals to bring the content to life. Marilu sends over the lesson material afterwards which means I'm not wasting time in the lesson taking notes. I previously attended a group course for several months but have already learnt more in a few weeks private tutoring with Marilu. I'm really looking forward to learning more of this beautiful language with Marilu as my tutor.

I thought the first lesson was a great introduction to the language. Maria was very nice, professional, patient and helped guide me to the correct answers. Just booked another set of lessons and feel I like Maria will help me on the way to feeling much more confident with the language!

Maria has been excellent since I started learning Italian with her 3 weeks ago. She has been patient and has understood that at 51 its going to be a steep and slow learning curve for me as i haven't studied a language since school. Since then she has put together great lessons in very small bite sized chunks that I can get my head around. I highly recommend Maria

I highly recommend Maria as an excellent Tutor. I’m a beginner and struggle to fit in time for lessons around work, even so Maria makes sure we get the most out of each lesson, with topic building on each other every week along with learning games to help reinforce vocabulary. Maria is both patient and skilled at getting the best out of each lesson, I always feel more confident with each lesson in both reading, writing and listening. We are really enjoying our Italian lessons as a family with Maria, she makes it fun and we feel relaxed whilst learning. We look forward to having our lessons with her every week, as does our six year old son.?

Such a lovely and friendly teacher who delivers really effective lessons; she is capable of teaching all abilities and she is currently teaching me for a CILS exam at C1 level. Lessons are in Italian which is really useful and she is incredibly flexible with lesson times and teaching material. Would really recommend this teacher I really enjoy the lessons and she explains everything including complicated grammar so well

Very helpful. Understands the grammar and paces to suit me (beginner) - just occasionally speaks to quickly but is happy to repeat at a slower pace.

Fabulous! After the second week my children were remembering things I had been trying to teach them for months! Very well planned out lessons, various materials used to keep their attention and my Husband and I have learnt so much more too. I would have no problem recommending her to anyone.
