I have been teaching for over 20 years and have gained a wealth of experience throughout secondary education. I have built up a reputation as a teacher who gets excellent results and have recently been rewarded for my school's improved Science results.

Increasingly over the years I have found myself struggling to satisfy the demands of parents who sought better help for the individual needs of their child, who was either not coping, or not being stretched enough. I was increasingly disappointed to see more and more pupils giving up and becoming disaffected with school.

As a private tutor I am now able to help pupils of all abilities across the key stages and have found teaching even more satisfying and rewarding.

I can offer help in the following subjects:

GCSE - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Double Science and Mathematics

'A' Level - Biology, Chemistry and Physics

I am familiar with all the major exam boards AQA, Edexcel and OCR

Tutoring Experience

I taught all the sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) to A level, Mathematics and ICT to GCSE and Electronics to Junior forms. After updating my ICT skills with the qualifications listed below I also taught ICT to GCSE level and was part responsible for the delivery of the Cisco course in the now closed Furtherwick Park School
