Loughborough University sports science graduate with a Masters in Education. Currently teaching Sports Science at Marlborough College in Wiltshire. 12 years teaching experience and 6 years as a Director of Sport. I have taught at schools in the UK and Kenya.
I AM HUGELY IN FAVOUR OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM AND USE TECHNOLOGY TO ADD A NEW DYNAMIC TO MY TEACHING. I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF A HANDS ON/PRACTICAL APPROACH TO STUDIES AND WILL USUALLY ADOPT NEW AND MODERN TECHNIQUES IN MY TEACHING. I HAVE BEEN OBSERVED DURING SCHOOL INSPECTIONS AND HAVE BEEN ASSESSED AS OUTSTANDING IN TERMS OF THE UNIQUENESS OF MY LESSONS AND THE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES/TECHNIQUES I INTRODUCE IN MY LESSONS.
MY LESSONS ARE NORMALLY BETWEEN 50 MINS TO 1 HOUR LONG.
I TEACH SPORTS SCIENCE/PE FROM GCSE TO A-LEVEL AND IB LEVEL.
MY PARTICULAR STRENGTH IS IN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY AND BIOMECHANICS.
