Fully qualified and experienced teacher, currently Head of Business and Economics at a top independent school. Also a 6th Form leader for several years, with extensive knowledge of what is needed to improve and achieve well at GCSE and A levels.
My previous work experience in banking in the city of London allows me to bring both academic and practical knowledge to my teaching.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher for 18 years. I spent 12 years at a local grammar school and now teach at a top London independent school. I have considerable experience in delivering the A level and GCSE in Business and Economics. I come with an excellent track record of helping students achieve A* and A/B grades. I have experience of teaching AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR.
As a Deputy Head of 6th Form I also have great insight into targeted revision and intervention techniques, as well as knowledge of UCAS, universities and apprenticeships.

Tutoring Approach

I am able to cater my teaching methods to the individual needs of the tutee, and all teaching is planned, tried and tested with excellent resources. All teaching will be exam board specific and designed to help students to improve exam techniques and grades. Experience of teaching students with SEND needs
