I am a graduate with a first-class degree in chemical engineering from the University of Surrey. I found the degree to be very interesting and rewarding because it has helped enhance my problem-solving skills and mathematical skills.
I have had a very memorable experience taking exams at school. I was always very hardworking, and this allowed me to build my confidence in the subjects and reduce my anxiety about the exams. I found revision to be such a peaceful experience because it allowed me to explore my most effective methods of studying and allowed me to work on the subjects I needed to improve, in my own allocated time. The technique for revision depends on the person and subject but mostly for the sciences and math subjects, I took notes, watched videos on the topics, and most importantly, completed practice questions and past papers.
I have taught Maths and Science for MyTutors since December. I have taught from GCSE to A-Level using an online teaching platform. I have experience in planning each lesson, teaching the lessons, and helping students with any outstanding difficulties in their subject by answering any questions and cleaning up any doubts they have on certain topics.
My teaching style is very inclusive, and I can tailor my style to the student's needs. I am very understanding and aware of students' feelings and thoughts because not long ago I too was in the same boat learning GCSE and A level. Over the years I have observed teachers and which style is most engaging and effective and hope to practice this to improve student confidence and grades. I want to inspire and motivate the new generation by teaching and sharing my knowledge which will allow students to have a memorable and joyful time during school as much as I did.
