Maja's tutoring style is diligent and pupil-centred. She puts my son at ease, builds confidence in maths, and is insightful about his strengths and weaknesses.

We have been so lucky to find Maja. She is very responsive and flexible which has made her a joy to deal with when organising sessions. Maja has been excellent tutor and such a positive influence on our daughter. She has helped our daughter hugely by clearly and calmly explaining complex topics by breaking them down into manageable building blocks and then finding routes to explain things in such a way that unlocks these topics in our daughter’s mind. They then work together to build on these foundations to tackle the more tricky areas of Higher Maths. Most importantly though Maja has helped to rebuild our daughter’s confidence with maths which had taken a severe knock, by encouraging her to ask and talk about anything that is bothering her in the certain knowledge that she is safe to do so without being judged and confidence is half the battle. We highly recommend Maja.

Maja is a thorough, meticulous, patient and a very experienced tutor who knows how to tailor the lessons to pupils' individual needs. My son has very high expectations of himself and Maja has certainly managed to help him fulfil those in his maths assessments. The 'proof in the pudding' is yet to come as he has not sat his final Nat5 exam, but if the starter, i.e. the prelim, is anything to go by, he will have exceeded his expectations! In just a few weeks of lessons, he raised his grade from an upper B to an A1. Maja is also flexible and it is easy to arrange or make up classes, if one needs to miss any.

Maja has been tutoring numeracy to our 7-year-old for a term, she is good at communicating and very reliable, which we think is important to establish a routine with children. She is sensitive to levels of concentration and provides regular breaks, again which we like. We can see that she is building foundations in numeracy and helping to give our son an understanding of units and tens. We would be happy to recommend Maja as a tutor to families wanting to help build confidence in maths to their children.

Maja is an excellent Tutor and has been exactly what Eloise, my Grand-daughter needed.
Eloise lacked confidence in Maths and was having significant difficulties in understanding some of the concepts that were being taught in School,partly due to being in a rather large class.Maja understood what was necessary and targeted the problems in a gentle and supportive manner, to the extent that Eloise has now gained both confidence and knowledge. Maja has been excellent and everything we wanted in a tutor for our daughter. Maja managed to build a relationship very quickly and tailors her lessons to what works. Allthough the sessions are maths based, I can clearly see the confidence my daughter has taken from these sessions into not just her maths at school, but into all her subjects.Maja clearly very good in her field, but the key for me is that is able to teach and transfer those concepts to the student. I initially contacted Maja after my son had a disappointing prelim result at NAT 5 level. He is now still using Maja and sitting Advanced Higher Maths this year. Maja has proven to be a competent, reliable and committed tutor who has developed my son's skills and confidence and helped him secure an A grade both at Nat 5 and at Higher. Maja has been helping our son towards his National 5 Maths. She has always been completely reliable, and has a very clear teaching style. She also sets him homework, and makes herself available online between lessons to mark it and provide feedback.

Maja has been great in helping me understand higher maths. She knows the course really well and takes the time to make sure you understand, as well as being accommodating to your timetable. She helped me feel more comfortable with the content and I felt much more confident going into the exam.

Maja helped our daughter to achieve success in her Nat 5 maths and has continued to help her as the Higher approaches. Maja is very patient and accommodating, and has helped to increase our daughter's confidence and ability in maths. We would highly recommend Maja as a maths tutor.

Maja continues to be a wonderful tutor for our son Joe, 13 and daughter Grace, 16 in Maths. She works really hard to make sure that our kids get the most out of the sessions and helps them to really understand and gain confidence in the subject. Maja tutored my daughter for higher Maths. She was very professional and attentive. Maja tutored me for several weeks to help prepare me for my National 5 exam. She was always prompt and on time for the sessions and always put in a little extra time to ensure everything was finshed/understood. She is also happy for you to email her with questions and is very helpful. Maja is also patient and friendly, and was overall good at explaining things that I was having trouble understranding.

Maya is very punctual and often stays longer than the allotted hour. She helps my daughter figure out the solutions to problems herself and doesn't spoon feed her. She explains things clearly in plain English. She is very supportive and encouraging, helping to build confidence in my daughters maths ability. She also has a good understanding of the new National 4/5 curriculum.
