Teaching Physics and Chemistry and imparting my enthusiasm and love of the subjects to students is my goal. My Masters in leading teaching and learning in schools has given me the opportunity to be innovative when teaching science. Physics and Chemistry and their application to everyday life is my passion together with enthusing students to take science studies further.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Physics and Chemistry for 30 years and have an in depth knowledge of science examinations. I have a long record of enthusing students, innovation and achieving outstanding results for all of my students. My experience means that I know the topics that cause most problems for students and how to teach to overcome these issues. I am able to support and extend every student and raise grades to the highest levels. As an Advanced Skills Teacher I have also trained many teachers within the county.

Tutoring Approach

Most students have an innate understanding of science but when asked to apply that knowledge have difficulties. Identification of the students understanding of the basics, then build from there is fundamental to building confidence so that students can recall and apply their knowledge to solve problems.
