I am a Masters graduate from the University of Bristol and the University of Glasgow. I have substantial experience in academia and would love to pass on my passion for Maths and Geography through tutoring to enable students to achieve their best possible results in their exams.
I have an MSci in Geography from the University of Bristol which involved both Human and Physical Geography. This involved climate modelling and computer programming. I consistently used my Maths skills throughout this 4 year course. Previously I got an A grade at A-Level for Maths.
I have been a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in Cornwall and this involved working with various students including 1:1 in Maths and other subjects.
I recently completed a second Masters in History of Art at the University of Glasgow. This is another strong interest that I have and I currently am an Art Dealer.
I also have an enhanced DBS.
I will tailor the lessons specifically for each student with clear aims and objectives. The lesson plan will be used to achieve these objectives. I will give feedback after every lesson. The activities will be geared to a student's specific needs.
I am a patient tutor and from my experience in secondary schools I know the importance of building up a positive working relationships with each pupil along with their confidence.
I am happy to do tutoring online or 1:1 in person.
