I am a qualified teacher with 14 years experience working in a top independent school. I read Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2009, before completing a PGCE at the University of Durham. I love working with students to help them achieve their goals, whether that be further study in science or simply achieving a grade they are proud of in their GCSE or A level.

Tutoring Experience

I work with students in Y7 - 13 every day and have extensive experience of teaching GCSE, International GCSE and A level, with many of my students going on to study at the most competitive universities, including Oxbridge. I also work with many students applying to study Medicine. I am a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator and believe that technology, when used well, can enhance student learning.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in a personalised approach that is tailored to the needs of the individual. I will work with you to identify any areas of weakness and then use a range of activities to help you improve your understanding, as well as your ability to apply this in examinations. I have a wide range of resources including notes, activities and past-paper questions and mark schemes which we can use together.
I tutor online as this allows for you to work in a comfortable, familiar environment. I use Google Classroom so all materials are accessible after the lesson.
