I am a UK-trained doctor with over seven years’ experience in the NHS and abroad. I am a specialty registrar in Emergency Medicine and I hold Membership by Examination of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. I also hold a first class degree in Human Sciences from UCL.

I am passionate about education, and have extensive teaching experience in the UK and internationally. I tutor biology and the medical sciences, and can assist with entrance exams and applications to medical school and other university courses.

My teaching style is friendly, engaging, and student-focussed. I look forward to working with you!

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience as a tutor and teacher in the UK and abroad. I have developed and delivered training programmes internationally for organisations such as WHO. I previously worked as special educational needs tutor for students with autism, developing curricula suited to their needs. I teach and mentor medical students and junior doctors on a daily basis, and teach courses such as Advanced Life Support courses to clinicians. I have led an international e-learning project for anaesthetists and am skilled in producing e-learning materials.

Tutoring Approach

I am very familiar with supporting students of different stages and levels, adjusting my style and learning outcomes appropriately. I am practiced at delivering feedback and collaborating with students to set goals for further development. I have received very positive verbal and written feedback from students on my teaching style. In particular I am told I am approachable, engaging, and credible, skilled in adapting to students’ particular needs and level, and in supporting students to develop in a safe environment.
