Louise is an exceptional tutor. My daughter enjoys her kind and encouraging nature. I can already see a difference in her writing style. She is clearly highly experienced and also has wonderful teaching skills. I am so glad that I found Louise for my daughter. My daughter is exceptionally lucky to have Louise as a teacher. Louise has been helping my dyslexic son with preparing for the start of his GCSE English in the holidays. She is very organised and he looks forward to her sessions. She always gives great feedback too to help him improve.

Louise is just amazing! She is very familiar with IGCSE exams. She is patient, attentive to details, and engages very well with my teenager. Her lesson is well structured and after each lesson there is always a detailed summary to include all the key points as well as homework. I feel my daughter is in her capable hands to prepare IGCSE exam. A highly recommended tutor! Thank you Louise!

Louise is an excellent Tutor. My daughter looks forward to her lessons each time. She planned her lessons in a way that is fun and interactive as she is learning. Besides, Louise is calm and patient. I would highly recommend her.

Louise has been extrodinary in boosting my daughter's confidence in her GCSE english. She has created an open and safe atmosphere to help boost my daughter's knowledge which has helped her reach the top of her class but also to fall in love with the subject.

First tutor session went very well

My daughter is in Year 8 at a super-selective grammar. She was struggling with both essay and creative writing, compounded by the high-pressure environment. On a personal level, she does not enjoy reading and suffers from perfectionism and extreme exam anxiety. With both child and parents completely stressed out, we decided to turn to a professional. We chose Louise not only for her highly qualified background but for her patience and kindness. We were further impressed with how much time Louise took to try and understand our daughter, and her out of the box idea to use our daughter's love of Japanese Vocaloid music and anime to understand how to structure and interpret essays, and also analyse poetry. After only several months with Louise - and entirely by the less than ideal Zoom - our daughter just topped her end of year English exams with an almost unheard-of perfect score on the essay section! We were thrilled, thank you Louise! Next challenge - Shakespeare!

Louise has been Tutoring our Year 8, Home Schooled daughter in KS3 English and the plan is to progress to GCSE later on too. I have found Louise to be professional, kind, supportive and an excellent Tutor for our daughter. She replies swiftly to all emails and has kept us up to date as to how our daughter is getting on.
Our daughter enjoys her lessons with Louise very much and I feel very lucky to have found her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Louise has been tutoring my son (in year 9) for around one month now and I have been hugely impressed by her. Not only was she prompt at responding to my queries, she made an immediate connection with my son and made every effort to understand his learning style, before embarking on her first session with him. In a short time, Louise has built up my son's confidence and enthusiasm for English, so much so, he is thoroughly engaged with the subject, working harder at school and his output and results are rapidly showing signs of improvement. Louise is very friendly and right away put my son at ease. She regularly updates me on his progress and I can contact her with any questions when required. My son has gained quickly in confidence and after only a few weeks with Louise I can clearly observe his knowledge improving. Excellent value for money.

My son thoroughly enjoyed learning with Louise. His confidence grew quickly and he began to enjoy the subject more. Louise was friendly and supportive, patient and kind both with him and myself. She was generous with her time if I wanted to discuss progress and consulted us both to make a plan of work. Whilst we weren't lucky enough to test the progress in the GCSE exam, as 2020 intervened, I can happily say that Louise raised his game and we were confident that his grade was improved by the time spent with her.

Louise was absolutely fantastic! She helped me with structuring my writing and developing a prose style for website articles. This was an area I really lacked confidence in. This was required after changes were made to my job role and I was told this was an area I needed to improve.

Louise helped me with correcting basic mistakes and habits I had developed since leaving school. This helped with my overall writing style and made my communication of ideas much better.

Louise was polite, professional and always flexible with session timings. The sessions really helped me personally and I really can’t thank her enough!

My son started seeing Louise a couple of years ago after a a drop in confidence and grade! Since seeing Louise he has really improved in confidence and his grades are back up, we now have both my sons seeing her, she inspires and encourages them they come out every time full of confidence and enjoy every session. My son enjoyed his English tutoring sessions. They concentrated on Shakespeare and the sessions have helped build his confidence. He picked up some good analytical techniques. He found Lousie's style nice and friendly.

Louise is an excellent tutor. She is kind, supportive and encouraging and she helped our son achieve excellent results in his English language and literature GCSE exams. We were delighted with the progress he made and are very grateful to Louise for all her help and support.

Part way through my sons tuition and its all going very well. Louise is very professional but also connecting well with him (which is not easy where teenagers are concerned!). My son is enjoying each lesson and Louise offers great advice and sets homework.

Louise was a great tutor for me as an adult learner working on GCSE English. Louise took the time to excellently plan and resource each lesson so I got the most out of each hour I was with her. As my exams got closer, Louise was more than happy to help arrange extra sessions and was open to me emailing her for extra help and support between lessons.
