I am an enthusiastic teacher and a passionate reader. I am very familiar with exam board structure for A level and IB, as well as the set texts and wider reading
25 years of teaching English in state schools. My results across GCSE, A level and IB are exceptional, with students every year achieving full marks across papers and with course work.
I have substantial tutoring experience also.
Student centred. A major component of my teaching is raising confidence to approach all and any questions. At this level, I want to encourage independence of thought and interpretation, presented through sophisticated and sharply analytical written expression.
